Biographies
Christopher Thompson
Mr. Thompson has 13 years of experience in cultural resource management, specializing in prehistoric archaeology. His areas of expertise include lithic analysis. The types of work he has completed include all phases of archaeology from Stage 1 to Stage 4. Additionally, Mr. Thompson is adept at historical research and has completed historical contexts, historic artifact identification and assessment and is a superior stone tool craftsman. He began using a metal detector as a child and demonstrates his competence in its use on many civil war battlefield projects in Virginia. Mr. Thompson’s expertise in archaeological survey, evaluation and mitigation ensures the accurate completion of cultural resource management projects quickly.
